Australia pulls Kanye West
Melbourne, Australia (AP) – Ye, the American rapper previously known as Kanye West, was recently stripped of an Australian visa after releasing his single “Heil Hitler,” a government minister said Wednesday.
The Minister of Interior Affairs, Tony Burke, revealed that Yee has been traveling for years to Australia, where his three -year -old wife, Bianca Censori, was born. His family lives in Melbourne.
Burke said “Heil Hitler,” released in May, promoted Nazism. The song has been criticized as an anti -Semitic tribute to the German dictator Adolf Hitler.
“He has been coming to Australia for a long time. He has a family here. And he has made many offensive comments that my officials saw once again the song ‘Heil Hitler’ and no longer has a valid visa in Australia,” Burke told Australian Broadcasting Corp.
