Bea Arthur had strong words for Betty White and were very friendly
Behind the scene, the days of Bea Arthur and Betty White were not always so golden.
In 1985, the public traveled along the way and returned again and presented themselves to “The Golden Girls”. But although the cheese cake was generously shared on the screen, Camaraderie was not always in the menu behind the scene, particularly among the women who played Dorothy Zbornak and Rose Nylund.
Imagin IT: Wednesday, June 18. Some of the people who helped give life to the iconic situation comedy shared stories behind the scene during a 40th anniversary event in Los Angeles, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

“When that red light was on [and the show was filming]There were no more professionals than those women, “said co -producer Marsha Posner Williams.” But when the red light was off, those two could not heat each other if they were cremated together. “
Williams recalled to have received arthur phone calls, during which the actor would vent his frustrations and referred White as a “pussy.” She said she advised Arthur to “overcome him,” but that was not the case.
“I remember that my husband and I went to Bea’s house a couple of times for dinner. At 30 seconds of walking through the door, word C came out,” he added.

The casting director Joel Thurm corroborated the tension, saying that once heard Arthur use the same word to describe White while the two were on a flight.
While Arthur, who died in 2009 for lung cancer, and White, who died in 2021 shortly before his 100th birthday, never publicly recognized his tension, White’s legacy remained warm as a Miami night with his fans.
“I just want to thank everyone for their love and support over the years. Thank you very much and stay,” White said in a video he had recorded for his centenary.
