Billy Bush says that Trump gave alarm

Billy Bush says he marked the infamous interview with “Access Hollywood” by President Donald Trump in 2005, but states that NBC executives ignored him to protect his “cash cow.”

During the episode on Thursday of the podcast “Literally! With Rob Lowe”, the television presenter said that he raised concerns with a producer at that time due to a vulgar story that Trump told about the coanfrerion Nancy O’Dell, which was caught in a hot microphone.

While Trump’s raw comments about attracting women by genitals are dominated holders when the tape arose weeks before the 2016 elections, he also boasted in the audio about the attempt without success of seducing O’Dell during a furniture purchase trip.

“The day of filming in 2005, I called my producer [and] He said: ‘You won’t believe what Trump said. … He goes after Nancy, “Bush recalled.” All I said was ‘Nancy O’Dell’, because I didn’t hear the other things. “

Bush said that Trump’s now infamous line did not register on how “when you are a star” you can “do anything” to women, but the conversation was still surprised.

“This is crazy. He has done it again! The guy is an animal!” He remembered to have told his boss.

But his report was nowhere, something that Bush blames Blockbuster’s qualifications of “The Apprentice” and Trump’s mass value to the network at that time.

“I denounce it, basically, my superior. He sits on a desk forever because … if that tape leaked when it happened in 2005, he would have been fired for a completely different reason: killing his cash cow,” he said.

“Trump was a protected and venerated source,” Bush added. “He had one hundred million dollars in profits for NBC. He was the king of grades.”

When the tape emerged more than a decade later after the accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior against Trump, it did not cost the then candidate the elections, but derailed Bush’s career.

After being widely criticized for laughing at Trump’s comments during the interview when the audio became public in 2016, the television personality was forced to renounce the “Today” program.

“We have learned later that nothing takes it out,” said Bush, and added that at that time the thought was: “Who is the collateral damage around him, hard shit. The greatest mission is that this man does not become president.”

Bush told Lowe to be expelled from NBC’s flagship program and lose that “huge payment check” was an important low point for him.

“I did everything I could think to avoid jumping from the building,” he told the star of “Parks and Rec”.

While talking with Lowe, Bush said Trump’s “EM” comments “were not even registered during the noisy bus trip in 2005.

“The first time I listen to a ribbon in the general manager’s office in the ‘Today’ program,” he said. “But, it’s the optics … I [have] There is no memory of those words that are said until I heard it on October 3, 2016, one month before the elections, one month and two days before the second [presidential] debate when they are throwing this. “
