The Operai CEO, Sam Altman, known for creating Chatgpt, has launched World, a project that uses an eye scan to prove that he is a real person online. The idea is to help people stand out from the bots and the AI creating a digital identification with a fast scan from a device called orb.

How World ID works
World ID is based on a device called orb, a spherical scanner that captures a person’s iris pattern to generate a unique iriscode. Store the code on a blockchain -based platform, ensuring that users can verify their identity without revealing personal data.
Once scanned, people receive their World ID, which can be used for authentication on several platforms where the ID World protocol has been integrated, including Reddit, Telegram and Shopify.
In addition, those registered are rewarded with WLD cryptocurrency as an incentive. They obtain the equivalent of tokens worth $ 40, which can spend, exchange or share with other world identification holders.
