Boardwalk Empire Actor Devin you died at 41 years
Actor Devin Harjes, better known for the roles in “Boardwalk Empire” and “Manifest” among other television series, died on May 27, after being hospitalized at the Mount Sinai West hospital in New York. He was 41 years old.
The death of Harjes was announced on Sunday in an obituary published on its official website. The actor’s representative, David Williams, confirmed to News and other points of sale that you have been diagnosed with cancer last winter, but did not provide details.
“He was a great conviction artist who never gave less than one hundred percent to any role he played,” Williams said in a statement, according to USA Today. “As a person, he was generous, friendly, comprehensive and dedicated to his family and friends, a great rider on horseback and had a magical way with all the animals. He was at home in the field of the rocky mountains, the plains of the west of Texas or the center of the cuisine of hell. We will miss him.”

Originally from Lubbock, Texas, Harjes began his career as a scenic actor in New York, appearing in Broadway productions and student films. His great rest came in 2011 with a two -episodes arc in the drama of the HBO period “Boardwalk Empire”, in which he portrayed the legendary boxer Jack Dempsey.
Then he appeared in “Blue Bloods”, “Orange is the new black” and “Daredevil”, among other series and movies. His last appearance on the proven screen was the supernatural drama of the NBC “manifest”, in which he portrayed Pete Baylor’s character.

According to his obituary, Harjes survives his parents, Randy and Rosanne Harjes; her sister, Trish Hazjes, and her husband, Justin Kelley; as well as several nephews and nephews, and their cat, Maude.
