Police confirm the body found in Turks and Caicos is missing from New York
A body found in Turks and Caicos more than a week ago has now been identified as Brian Tarrence, an American who disappeared while he was on vacation there.
His remains They were found during a search on July 5but the police force of the Turkish and Caico Royal Islands said they could only confirm their identity on Wednesday after receiving the results of a forensic dental analysis.
The police force said there were no trauma signs during autopsy, and do not suspect that the dirty game.
The cause of death has not yet been determined.
“The RT & CIPF extends our condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Tarrence during this difficult time. We thank the public for their patience and support while we continue the investigation,” said the police force in a statement, partly.
Tarrence disappeared while he was on vacation with his wife
Tarrence, 52, was on vacation on the island with his wife, Maria, when she disappeared.
He was last seen in a surveillance video that moved away from his hotel around 3:30 am on June 25.
Tarrence and his wife moved to the center of Manhattan in 2024 and previously lived in Orange County. They had been married for a year.
Tarrence worked as Vice President in Diligent Software.
