Brad Pitt offered a rare, but reserved vision of his personal life in a new profile for GQ.
When asked if he felt relieved to close the chapter on the drama of almost decades, he told the magazine: “No, I don’t think it was that big thing.”
“Simply something that is specified. Legally,” Pitt added, who shares six children with his ex.
While Pitt and Jolie separated in 2016, their divorce became a prolonged drama that could not evade public scrutiny.
The courts declared the former unique couple in the eyes of the law in 2019, but disputes about her French vineyard, Chateau Miraval and other shared properties persisted.
Once those matters were finally resolved at the end of last year, Jolie’s lawyer James Simon told Six page: “Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but is relieved that this part is over.”

Although Pitt was forced to be the focus of the media show during the legal battle, the “Fight Club” told GQ that he has become accustomed to attention.
“My personal life is always in the news. It has been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let’s say so,” he said.
As GQ wondered if immersed in the high octane world of “F1” offered a refuge of sensationalist fodder, Pitt told the magazine: “Um, I don’t see it that way.”
“It has been a nuisance with which I have always had to deal in different degrees, large and small, since I do the things I really want to do,” he continued. “Then, it has always been this type of persistent time or loss of time, if it lets be that.”
“My life is quite contained,” added the veteran actor. “He feels quite warm and safe with my friends, with my loves, with my family, with my knowledge of who I am, that, you know, it’s like this fly buzzing a little.”
Although he has tried to maintain his personal life outside the center of attention in recent years, Pitt offered an unexpected vision of his relationship with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon, whom he had been linked since around 2022.
Pressing to say that if his public debut at the British Grand Prix of 2024 was a strategic public relations movement, the actor laughed and said: “No, friend, he is not so calculated.”
