Hamas Attack Survivor Fears for his hostage brother
Cattered in the ruins of Gaza, there are at least 20 Israeli hostages that are believed to be still alive, kept captive by Hamas.
One of them is Gal Dalal’s younger brotherThe type of 24 years Gilboa-Dalal.
“Every bomb, every military operation, everything that is happening, are putting my brother at risk,” Gal told News themezone.
And the bombing intensified this week. The images of the security camera showed the moment when an Israeli blow hit an hospital in Gaza, killing dozens. The attack came only one day after the launch of the American hostages Edan Alexander.
“We know their family, we love them. And they deserve nothing more to meet with their son. It is this complicated thing of joy and sadness,” Gal said.
Gal told News themezone that his family was “cheerful” and “grateful”, Alexander went home. “But also, it was a great pain to see another hostage return and it’s not your brother,” he said.
Gal and Guy were at the Nova Music Festival when Hamas launched their terrorist attack on October 7. Gal escaped, but his brother, whom he calls his best friend, did not.
“The most difficult thing for me is that I really went there to monitor it, watch my little brother, and I returned without him,” Gal said.
In February, Hamas took a propaganda video that showed Guy.
“Hamas took it out to see other hostages go home,” Gal said. “I was fully helpless because I couldn’t do anything to help him, so I was there again, looking at my little brother in this inhuman condition wearing much worse.”
While the video was a life proof, Gal knew for hostages liberated how bad things were for his brother.
“They were in the same tunnel with two or 10 hostages, a very small tunnel, almost unable to move. Sleep, eat, breathe next to where they had to dig their own bath,” he said.
“My brother is in front of me every time, all day,” Gal added. “I’m going to sleep with him. I wake up with him, I can’t feel anything but blame for the simplest things.”
Like many hostage families, President Trump is setting their hopes to negotiate an agreement to release them.
“Although we sometimes break because we are human, we also stay strong in the hope that the boy will return to us,” Gal said.
“Wait [our love] It is what saves him at this time, “he added.” How much know everyone loves him and await him. “
