The chief coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, Andy Reid, was in his office when a bullet broke the glass of his office in the team’s practice facilities in May 2024, according to a report.
Reid was not beaten by the bullet and not reported injured by the incident, Kansas City star reported Wednesday. According to the reports, he was alone in his office when the bullet entered his office and landed on the wall between the bathroom and his door.

The Kansas City Police Department told the newspaper that there were no arrests in the case and that “there are no indications that this was an incident directed in any person or organization.” The sources told him at the exit that two other bullets hit the installation in the same case.
The Chiefs did not comment on the incident. Police said the case was being investigated as “an aggravated assault,” according to Kansas City star.

The incident occurred a few months after the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl LVIII. Kansas City returned to beat San Francisco in that game.
Reid, 67, is considered one of the most successful chief coaches in the history of NFL, since he has only been with two franchises his entire career: the Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.

He has won three Super Bowl titles with the Chiefs and has a 143-53 record with them. In general, it has 273-146-1. It has 301 victories, including playoffs.
