After the United States began choosing a fight with its northern neighbor, Canadian comic Mike Myers knew how to return the blow.

The “Austin Powers” star spoke about how the angry attacks of President Donald Trump against Canada have done so and why he has been using the comedy to make a political statement while talking to the New York Times in an interview published on Saturday.

“Fascism does not like to be ridiculed; he likes to be feared,” said Myers, who has passed the billionaire informant of the White House Elon Musk in a handful of appearances of recent guests in “Saturday Night Live.”

“Satire is an important tool in the toolbox to say that this is not normal: that the cuts that are making are not normal,” added Musk, the intellectual author behind the bold cost reduction initiative of the Trump administration, the Government’s efficiency department.

Myers’s protests have not been limited when he is in the character.

After his first performance as a “SNL” musk in March, the Native of Toronto and the American citizen Dual opened his vest to show a shirt “Canada is not on sale” during the final credits.

Although Myers said that it originally did not intend to get politician after its involved sketch, remember to get “more angry and angry” when thinking about Trump’s calls to which Canada became “state 51” and how Musk said that the nation was “not a real country.”

“What happened came from my ankles and my brain and my heart, and it wasn’t about me, it was my country,” he told the Times. “I wanted to send a message home to say that I am with you, you know.”

The “Wayne’s World” star added that being betrayed by the ally once closed from Canada has already saddens him his compatriots more than anything.
