CDC eliminates the recommendation of the COVID vaccine for healthy children and pregnant women
The COVID-19 vaccine is no longer recommended for healthy children or pregnant women, according to the new orientation of health officials.
The HHS secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., shared a video on Tuesday of X announcing that the centers for disease control and prevention (CDC) have eliminated vaccines from the recommended immunization program of the CDC for those groups.

“Last year, the Biden Administration urged healthy children to obtain another Covid opportunity, despite the lack of clinical data to support the repeated reinforcement strategy in children,” Kennedy said in the video, in which he appears together with the FDA Commissioner, Dr. Marty Makary and the NIH director, Jay Bhattacharya.
“That ends today, it is common sense and it is a good science,” Bhattacharya added.

Makary also intervened, noting that there is no evidence that healthy children need the Covid vaccine and that most countries have stopped recommending it for children.

“Now we are one step closer to realizing the promise of President Trump to make the United States again healthy,” Kennedy concluded.

The CDC previously recommended that all of those over 6 months obtain the COVID vaccine.
