Channing Tatum speaks
Channing Tatum makes a rare comment about his tumultuous divorce of his “Step Up” co -star, Jenna Dewan.
The two, who were married for almost 10 years, finally finished their divorce in 2024, six years after Dewan appeared for the first time to finish their marriage.
“Jenna and I are fine now, but it was a painful break that fell apart, especially being so young,” Tatum said in an interview with Variety, published earlier this week.
“We try to keep it together, tested for a year and a half,” he said. The two finally separated in 2018.
“It is in the past,” he added, before talking about the co-patient with Dewan. “But it is really difficult not to have your daughter half the time. I would like to have her all the time.”
Tatum has talked about the division of both before, calling him “probably exactly what he needed.”

“I think I would not have done the job, in myself in the way I had to do the job in myself to try to discover what follows,” he said in a 2023 interview with Vanity Fair.
“I think we told each other a story when we were young, and we kept telling us that story, no matter how blatant life would tell us that we were very different,” he added.
Tatum met Dewan on the set of his successful film, “Step Up”, in 2006. The two married three years later. They share a child together, a 13 -year -old daughter named Everly.
Dewan continued with his now promised, Steve Kazee, with whom he shares two children.
