Charlamagne Tha God didn’t hesitate to trash several Democratic Party leaders on Wednesday’s episode of “The Daily Show.”

After playing a shorten When House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), referring to Republicans as “the party of anarchy and disorder,” the radio host asked a brutal question:

“So why is Hakeem Jeffries talking like he’s Chuck E. Cheese Obama? What are we doing? What are we doing? Come on, man. Come on,” he began.

“Clearly, Democrats do not have the leaders they need to meet the moment,” Charlamagne continued. “Okay, anyone who’s a sports fan knows that sometimes it takes a year of rebuilding. That’s okay, get some draft picks, develop young talent. And at some point, the old guys have to retire.”

He went on to argue that Democrats should focus on “electing interesting new candidates.”

Charlamagne then played footage of Maine Gov. Janet Mills (D), 77, who was “heavily recruited” by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) to run for the Senate. If Mills wins the election, she will become the oldest freshman senator in history.

“This is the new candidate, okay? She shouldn’t be running for the Senate. She should throw her Titanic necklace into the ocean,” he joked.

Charlamagne also criticized Schumer and other Democrats for not supporting Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani, 34, in the race for New York City mayor.

After playing a clip of Schumer awkwardly avoiding a question about why he hasn’t endorsed Mamdani yet, the podcast host mocked the politician’s energy and told the audience that someone needs to “reboot” Schumer.

In another blow, he chastised Democrats for pressuring former President Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential campaign despite his disastrous debate against now-President Donald Trump.

“That’s not the kind of leadership we’re looking for, okay?” Charlemagne said. “These are the same Democratic leaders who shove their shitty candidates down our throats and say we have to support them because they’ll vote blue no matter who. Hell, you did it after Joe Biden shitted the bed at the debate.”

Elsewhere in the segment, the “Breakfast Club” host complained that Democrats “act like they’re going to get a cookie for being the most rational people in the room.”

“Nobody cares. You’re trying to get voters,” he said.

Charlamagne has also attacked the Republican Party quite a bit.

In August, he claimed that the MAGA base was losing its power following the Trump administration’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
