Cheryl Hines expected a very different outcome during her recent appearance on “The View.”

The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actress appeared on the daytime talk show earlier this month to promote her new memoir, “Unscripted.”

But “The View” hosts spent most of their time grilling Hines about the outlandish and dangerous views of her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“They just wanted to question me about Bobby,” Hines said on Billy Bush’s podcast, “Hot Mics,” Tuesday. “I mean, I don’t think the ladies on ‘The View’ asked me a single question about my book. But, you know, that’s okay.”

During Hines’ appearance, co-host Sunny Hostin accused Kennedy, the secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, of spreading “misinformation” and “confusion” during his time in the Trump administration.

Hostin also described Kennedy, a prominent conspiracy theorist, as the “least qualified” HHS chief in history.

“Listen, we all have different points of view here,” Hines replied.

When Hostin interjected that Kennedy had “linked circumcision to autism.” Hines responded, “Can I finish?”

Co-host Joy Behar then asked the actor about her husband’s claim that doctors found a dead worm in his brain.

“He ate just a little bit of his brain and died, so don’t worry!” Hines joked.

Hines’ marriage to Kennedy has tested not only her public image, but also her previous relationships in Hollywood.

Comedian Tig Notaro, who was previously close friends with Hines, recently shared why she had to distance herself from the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actor.

“Cheryl was one of my favorite friends to be silly with,” Notaro said during an appearance on the “Breaking Bread With Tom Papa” podcast earlier this month.

“But Cheryl is married to Bobby Kennedy Jr.,” the “Handsome” podcast host added. “When he was announcing his candidacy, I felt that I needed to distance myself, because there are beliefs that years ago were like a mosquito on the arm and that were gaining more and more attention.”
