Chris Appleton is opening on his brief marriage to actor Lukas Gage a little more than a year after his divorce was finished.

The celebrity stylist, whose clients include Kim Kardashian and Jennifer López, spoke about his Gage separation for the first time publicly in an appearance on Wednesday about the podcast “On purpose with Jay Shetty”.

“It was definitely the first time I experienced that magnitude of people who were so interested in my private life,” Appleton said. “I think people have this perception, of social networks probably, [that] I have it together. I work with these incredible people. Life looks glamorous. Then, from the outside, it probably seems that I have everything together. But the truth is that, especially during that time, it was going through a lot of private pain. ”

He continued observing: “You can love someone And then not be An end forever happy. I think you learn So much of that. ”

Appleton married Gage, better known for his interpretation of Dillon in the premiere season of “The White Lotus” by HBO, in April 2023 after two months of appointments. His starry ceremony was officiated by Kardashian and presented a performance by Shania Twain. He was also captured for posterity in an episode of “The Kardashians” that was broadcast that November.

However, less than a week after the episode premiered, Appleton separated from gage, citing “irreconcilable differences.” His divorce was completed in June 2024.

Previously, Gage hinted that he could not discuss many details of the divorce due to a non -dissemination agreement. Even so, he has described his decision to marry after a brief romance as “one of the most deranged things I have done in my life.”

“I had a manic episode for six months,” he said while appearing in “Watch What Halls Live” by Bravo last year. “What happened to me? I don’t know, literally, what happened to my head. But we live and learn.”

In his conversation with Shetty, Appleton shrugged with the involvement that he had agreed to marry Gage too fast.

“Look, moving fast does not always mean you are reckless,” he said. “I think it sometimes means that you have hopes. And I think that any relationship I have been in, I have entered with an open heart and I do not regret it.”

“I think we are ashamed of people too much to lead with an open heart,” he continued. “And I think the sad part of that, especially when it doesn’t work, is that you can learn to retract and protect yourself. But I prefer to love and fall that never feel anything at all.”
