A bitter Chris Cuomo criticized the “radical left” and declared that the “Dead” Democratic Party after the loss of his brother Andrew Cuomo in the primaries of the Mayor’s Office of New York City.

The youngest Cuomo was enraged by “extremism” during a monologue on Wednesday night in his news program, claiming that the impressive electoral victory of Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani was a sign that the Democrats are in “Maga mode.”

It was not Mamdani’s promise to combat the crisis of the cost of living that won voters, but left intolerance, according to the news presenter.

“In the same way that Maga played with the prejudices of white nationalism, you are seeing a dynamic identical to the left with prejudices, such as tacitly supporting extreme Islamism or attacking the Jews,” he explained. “For the right, they are migrants. And for the left, they are the Jews. They are the fundamentalist Christians who dominate the fundamentalist Islamists who advance to the left. I know that does not sound like Democrats, but the party is dead. What will be reborn as we will see.”

Mamdani, who would be the first Muslim to be elected mayor of New York and has faced an avalanche of Islamophobia attacks since his victory, has been forced to defend himself against accusations of anti-Semitism about his criticism of Israel and for refusing to denounce the pro-palestinian slogan “globalize the intifada.”

Cuomo attacked Mamdani’s economic platform, comparing his rental proposal of rentals, edible stores owned by the city and subsidized child care with the screams of meeting of the French Revolution “kill the rich.”

“The result of this choice was not about affordability or a real change,” he said. “The winner is an open socialist, and the Democratic Party is now just that: socialist.”

Stating that the left and right are now the populist movements only “based on the complaint”, Cuomo accused “Maga and his Democrat” of taking advantage of “the true anguish and pain” without delivering the change.

“If things are only sold, as well as the burning of things,” he said.
