Colts eliminates the controversial schedule release video, for example, Microsoft’s rights were violated

The Indianapolis Colts were criticized on Wednesday night by a video of social networks deleted since I intended to creatively reveal the team’s 2025 calendar of the team.
The clip, which was animated in the style of the video game owned by Microsoft Minecraft, was inaugurated with a segment prior to the game of week 1 of the team against the Miami Dolphins. In him, the Dolphins Tyreek Hill star was represented as a dolphin and was then approached by a boat of the Coast Guard that sounds like a police siren, with a police officer looking at Hill.
Hill was arrested in September in a widely publicized controversy that presented Codycam images of the wide receiver that the police put on the ground while handcuffed.

The Colts eliminated the video later that night and since then they have provided a statement to News New Digital clarifying that it was eliminated due to Hill’s representation and because it violated the team agreement with Microsoft.
“We eliminated our schedule launching video because it exceeded our rights with Microsoft and included an insensitive clip that involves the dolphins, the open receiver Tyreek Hill. We sincerely apologize to Microsoft and Tyreek,” the team said Thursday.

Hill himself intervened in the situation with an X position on Wednesday, saying that the colts should have left the video.
The Los Angeles chargers also format their schedule release video with Minecraft. However, unlike Colts, Chargers’ video included a discharge of responsibility at the beginning.
In addition, unlike the colts video, the Chargers video seems to be Minecraft’s real recorded game, while Indianapolis used a patented animation.
The NFL has had an association with Microsoft dating from 2013.

The contract began with a five -year agreement and $ 400 million, with a subsequent extension in 2020.
