They didn’t need to buy a vote.

“Wheel of Fortune” star Vanna White and her partner, John Donaldson, announced Wednesday that they had tied the knot after a long time together.

“Surprise! We’re getting married!” White wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself in a white dress being dragged by Donaldson, along with other photos of the two together.

“John and I have been in love for over a decade, and a while ago we wanted to make it official in a private ceremony,” White wrote in the caption. “We are excited to share this joyful new chapter of our lives with all of you! Love, Vanna and John.”

White met Donaldson, who has a construction and development company, at a barbecue in 2012, People reported. But as recently as 2023, the card-trading game show icon told the outlet that marriage was not a priority.

“Do we have to get married? No, because we feel comfortable in our relationship. Do you know what I mean?” she said. “I know he’s the one. He knows I’m the one.”

And now it’s official.

“Congratulations!” Current “Wheel” host Ryan Seacrest wrote on his Instagram Story.

White and Donaldson had previous marriages. White shares two adult children with her ex-husband, George Santo Pietro.
