Catching a ball in a MLB game is difficult enough for fans in the stands, much less when their eyes are being covered by their daughter.

During the confrontation of the Yankees-Tampa Bay Rays in New York on Saturday, the YES Network repeated a fan making a miraculous capture with his daughter on the shoulders.

It wasn’t just because he was balancing his daughter while tracking the ball. She placed her hands on her eyes just when the ball was about to connect with her glove.

Somehow, the father seized the dirty ball, making it on his chest while he still had his eyes covered.

“That is Dad’s power right there,” said former Yankee announcer and current Yes Network, Jeff Nelson, while watching the repetition of the capture.

And, of course, the moment was completed with a small celebration and handed the ball to his daughter.

The Yankees fan had that moment, but the local team fell in the Yankee Stadium, 3-2, on a day when Aaron Judge beat another home run while his beginning to the living red of the 2025 campaign continued.

The Rays finished the series with a victory on a rainy Sunday, surpassing their East rival, 7-5.

We have seen many moments over the years, with parents who make a tremendous ball of bad and hooks home while serving their children. Sometimes he carries a baby around his chest or back, and also doing what this father did on Saturday with a small shoulder.
