David Beckham breaks his silence after his son Brooklyn

David Beckham is breaking his silence after his son, Brooklyn Beckham, unleashed a series of Instagram Stories earlier this week that accused his parents of “endlessly trying to ruin” his relationship with his wife, among other things.

in the publicationsBrooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of the former soccer legend and his wife Victoria Beckham, also said his parents were forcibly trying to control “the narratives in the press about our family.”

Appearing Tuesday in “Squawk Box” David Beckham, now co-owner of Inter Miami CF in the MLS, spoke about how “dangerous” social media can be in the wake of his son’s posts.

“I’ve always talked about social media and the power of social media, for better and for worse,” he said. “We’ve talked about what’s bad, what kids can access these days and how it can be dangerous. But what I’ve found personally, especially with my kids as well, is that I use it for the right reasons.”

Telling the show’s panel of presenters that she had used her social media platform to support UNICEF, she continued: “It’s been the most important tool to make people aware of what’s happening around the world for children, and I’ve tried to do the same.”

David Beckham shares four children with Victoria: Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14.
