Details of Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza had an honest conversation about pain during an appearance in Amy Poehler’s podcast, “Good Hang”, Tuesday.

Poehler, who co -starred next to Plaza in “Parks and Rec”, asked Plaza how he was going following his “terrible and tragic year.”

“Just to get him out of the way, people want to see you and want to see how you are; they love you,” Poehler said at the beginning of the podcast episode.

“So you had terrible, terrible and tragic this year,” added the “Saturday Night Live” star. “You lost your husband, you’ve been dealing with that and you’ve been looking for all the different ways to feel and find support.”

“And I think, in the name of all the people who feel they know you and the people who know you, how do you feel today?” Poehler asked.

“I mean, at this time very, very present, I feel happy to be with you,” Plaza replied.

“In general, I am here and I am working, and I feel, you know, really grateful to move around the world. I think, as, I’m fine, but you know, it’s like a daily struggle, obviously.”

Plaza then compared her husband’s death with the 2025 “The Gorge” horror movie to try to explain how she felt.

“This is like a really dumb analogy, and it was a joke at some point, but I really say it. Did you see that movie ‘The Gorge?'” Plaza asked.

“It’s like an alien film or something with Miles Teller,” he explained. “In the movie, there is like a cliff on one side and then there is a cliff on the other side, and then there is gorge in the middle, and is full of all these monstrous people who try to get them.”

“And I swear that when I saw him, I thought, that feels like my pain,” he said, and added “or how pain could be.”

“At all times, there is a giant justice ocean, that’s how there and I can, as, see it,” he said. “And how sometimes, I just want to immerse myself in him and simply be in him. And then, sometimes, I just look at him, and then, sometimes, just try to get away from him. But he’s always there. He’s always there.”
