Donald Trump
Donald Trump is catching Flak for using a blue suit for Pope Francis’s funeral, and social networks users are not stopping their opinions.
The president and the first lady Melania Trump attended the funeral of the religious leader on Saturday. After the photos and images of the ceremony arrived on the Internet, the Republican faced online criticism for his outfit.
Men reportedly It was expected to wear a formal black suit, a black tie and a black flap pin, while Trump clearly opted for a remarkably different tone.
During the funeral in the Plaza de San Pedro in the city of the Vatican, in which Trump was sitting in the front row, he wore a dark blue suit combined with a matching tie and an American flag pin.
Users of social networks in X, previously Twitter, sounded on Trump’s team, and some accused him of wanting to be “the center of attention.”
“Of course, Trump is the only fool who uses a blue suit and a blue tie for a funeral … a shame,” a user wrote.
Other commented, “A blue suit? Donald Trump couldn’t even be respectful and use a black suit for Pope Francis’s funeral like the rest of world leaders. He always has to excel and try to be the center of attention.”
“Trump’s great trip to Europe for Popes’s funeral included an unrespectful blue suit instead of black, sending text messages during the ceremony and then falling asleep,” added someone else.
Trump was not the only world leader whose outfit was questioned.

While the Vatican does not notice any funeral clothing code on his website, a source told People that the clothing of the Saturday’s ceremony was not restriction.
“Attendees wore what they considered an appropriate outfit for such a solemn occasion,” said the source.
A separate user argued that the images that circulated online were altered, writing: “They simply increased saturation. There are others that carry what seems dark blue suits, they were only a darker tone of blue than Trump’s. They can even be a dark gray.”
Another call Trump’s color choice, not “the end of the world”, but said it was “different” enough for others to notice.
“You can see how certain tones of blue are almost seen black. This is obvious when the fabric is surrounded by true black fabrics,” the user wrote along with images from side to side of Trump and Biden at the funeral. “Is the end of the world? No. But it’s different.”
News themezone has contacted the White House to comment.
Although Trump has not publicly commented on the reaction of the demand, he wrote in a social publication of the truth of April 21 that he and the first lady were “waiting” to attend the funeral of Francis. The pontiff died on April 21 at 88.
