Grimes has canceled an upcoming performance in Washington, the celebration of the worldwide pride of DC, citing “family problems.”
In a statement of social networks shared on Monday, the avant -garde electronic artist wrote: “Hello friends, I am very sorry and I’m sorry to say that I have to cancel my pride program to deal with family problems.”
Grimes, who shares three children with former Elon Musk, continued: “I mean that I am aware that the situation has been a great inconvenience for fans for some time, and I am really determined to make sure that this is no longer the case very soon.”
“I think the program will remain incredible and the alignment is great,” he added. “I hope this is early enough and gives people enough time if they want to change their plans. And I * will compensate very soon.”

The World Pride event supported the decision of the singer of “oblivion” in his own statement in an Instagram story, saying: “We are sending love and support for Grimes during this time as it moves away to concentrate on personal matters.”
“We fully support her decision and we are thinking about her and her family,” the statement continued.
While Grimes did not come into details about the family issue, he has publicly questioned the raising decisions of his billionaire in the past.
In an February publication on X, the singer criticized Musk for bringing his eldest son X Æ A-12 to the White House without his knowledge, saying: “He should not be in public like this.”
Days later, he turned to the Internet to try to obtain his ex while one of his children was having a “medical crisis.”
“I’m sorry to do this publicly, but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation,” Grimes wrote in the publication since then.

The CEO of Tesla and the singer of “Genesis” were previously blocked in a tense custody dispute over X, 4, Dark Sideræl, 3 and Techno Mechanicus, 2. The case was resolved in Texas last August, according to judicial records.
The singer offered a rare vision of the conflict of custody in a publication about X last November, telling fans how “a year locked in battle in a state with terrible rights of mothers” spent and could not see one of their children for five months when he said he was “separating from the love of my life as he becomes unrecognizable to me.”

Musk, a father of at least 14 children, is one of the most prominent voices in the pronatalist movement, which advocates that people have as many children as possible to combat a global trend in the decrease in birth rates.
When the conservative son of the conservative figure Ashley St. Clair, with the SpaceX executive, came to light earlier this year, told the Wall Street Journal how he urged him to move to a complex in Austin, Texas, where they reside a “harem” of the mothers of their other children and also shared personal texts where he described his extended breeding as his “legion.”
