Eric Dane makes the first appearance on the red carpet after revealing the diagnosis of ELA
Eric Dane walked on the red carpet on Wednesday, months after Gray’s “Anatomy” star publicly revealed its ELA diagnosis.
The actor appeared on the carpet to promote his new Amazon project, called “countdown”, and told Variety that he felt “well.”
“It is good to be here with everyone and see the hours and hours of work that we put in this come to life on the screen,” said the 52 -year -old man.
He also gave an update on the filming for the third season of the successful HBO program, “Euphoria”, and reaffirmed his position that he will continue working.
“It always feels great to be in a set. It’s great to be employed,” he told Variety. “I love what I give. I’m going to keep doing it.”

Dane walked on the carpet with his rumored love, Janell Shirtcliff. The actor and the filmmaker have been photographed together before, but on Wednesday night he marked his first official appearance on the red carpet.
Dane is still technically married to his wife and mother of his two teenage daughters, his companion actor Rebecca Gayheart.
Gayheart requested the actor’s divorce in 2018, but then appeared to dismiss in March 2025, only one month before Dane made his diagnosis of ELA public.

Dane opened about his relationship with Gayheart in a recent interview with “Good Morning America”, saying that he talks to her “every day.”
“We have managed to become best friends and best parents,” he told Diane Sawyer. “And she is probably my biggest champion, my most unconditional defender, and I support me.”
