Erika Kirk says her daughter
Erika Kirk says her family’s faith has been crucial in helping them cope with the death of her husband, conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Kirk was promoting her late spouse’s book, “Stop, in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life,” on News on Monday when host Sean Hannity asked if believing in heaven had been a comfort to her and her children.
“My daughter and I have talked about this at night,” Kirk said of her 3-year-old daughter. “She would ask, ‘What do you think Dad did in heaven today?’ And I will have her pass it on to me.”

“We’ve come to an agreement, and I’ve tried to explain it to him, that Dad is still with us, he’s just in a different place and he’s making us a home in heaven,” Kirk said. “And I’ve said this before, but she said, ‘I can’t wait to go.’ I said, ‘Me too, honey.'”
Kirk also told Hannity that while she is still coming to terms with the fact that her husband is gone, she continues to feel his presence in her life.
“I will always fight for permanence,” he said. “He’s the love of my life. I still talk to him every day, when I’m getting ready in the morning, when I’m getting ready for bed, when I’m just going about my day… He’s still very sorry for me.”

She spoke about continuing her husband’s mission during an event with right-wing personality Megyn Kelly last month, saying that while TPUSA is still mourning the death of their leader, they feel “more emboldened” than ever.
“We will carry on my husband’s legacy in a way no one could have imagined,” Kirk said. “And we will make it everything he could have dreamed of and more.”
