U.S. Senate candidate Juliana Stratton is letting the expletives fly in a new campaign ad explaining what she – and her supporters – really think about President Donald Trump.

“Fuck Trump, vote for Juliana,” three people say at the beginning of the Illinois lieutenant governor’s campaign video released Thursday.

“They said it, not me,” Stratton responds.

She then adds, “I’m Juliana Stratton and I’m proud to have lived on the South Side of Chicago my entire life. I’m not afraid of a wannabe dictator. I’m running for the Senate to take on Donald Trump. I will abolish ICE and hold Trump accountable for the crimes he’s committed. Just like they said…”

Then, two more supporters repeat the phrase: “Fuck Trump.”

Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) voices the same line on the House floor.

And Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, a potential 2028 Democratic presidential candidate who hasn’t been shy about attacking Trump, appears next to Stratton at the end of the ad and says simply, “Vote Juliana,” omitting the profanity.

Stratton is currently trailing Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Ill.) in early polls in the race to replace outgoing Sen. Dick Durbin (D). The Illinois primary is scheduled for March 17.
