Fans express their indignation in Food Network Post following Anne Burrell
Fans express indignation after Food Network published a photo of chef Anne Burrell to promote her program, only weeks after she died from suicide.
Food Network shared a photo of Burrell along with his coanfrerion, chef Gabe Bertaccini, earlier this week to promote a new episode of the long -term program, “the worst chefs in the United States.”
“It’s showtime!
“The recruits stand out in the first culinary contest of the training camp!” Look at a new episode of #Worsstcooks Tonight at 9 | 8C! ”
Chipper’s tone seemed to followers as “odd”, as well as the failure in mentioning Burrell’s death.

“If you are going to execute the program, each legend must have a respectful note about the loss of Anne,” wrote a follower, while another added: “I understand that it is uncomfortable but seriously, the great lady @foodnetwork not mentioning @chefanneburrell that she deserves it.”
Another commentator wrote: “This is such a strange legend, in my opinion. At least he recognizes Anne and her legacy in the subtitle: this is not a type of ‘daily’ season premiere and the food network knows it.”
The social networks of the Food Network was criticized similarly for its initial publication when the last season of the program premiered in July. This publication, which says it was edited, includes a note about Burrell and his death in the legend.
“This season of the worst chefs in the United States was filmed with Anne Burrell before her premature death,” says the post. “We hope that fans enjoy the digital content that we film with it in the set and go to do what I loved: teach and share the importance of food.”

The food network launched a statement after Burrell’s death, and has a tribute post to the late chef nailed at the top of its Instagram page.
“We are deeply sad to share the news that the beloved chef, Anne Burrell, died this morning,” the network shared in June.
“Anne was a notable person and culinary talent: teaching, competing and always sharing the importance of food in his life and the joy that a delicious food can bring,” the statement added. “Our thoughts are with the family, friends and fans of Anne during this time of tremendous loss.”
Burrell was found dead at home in New York City on June 17.
The New York City Forensic Physician office confirmed to News in July that death declared suicide, since Burrell died of “acute poisoning due to the combined effects of diphenhidramine, ethanol, cetirizine and amphetamine.”
Her husband survives, Stuart Claxton.
