Several of the “Full House” stars celebrate this week after actor Dave Coulier shared a positive update about his health.

Coulier, who portrayed Joey Gladstone in the ABC situation comedy, confirmed Monday through his representative that has no cancer. The announcement occurred approximately five months after it was made public with its diagnosis of Non Hodgkin lymphoma in stage 3.

The news of the actor was celebrated by several of his “Full House” co -stars, including actors John Stamos and Candace Cameron Bure.

“I am overwhelmed by the joy and gratitude for sharing that my dear friend Dave has defeated cancer,” Stamos said in a video posted on Instagram on Monday night. “He fought like hell with strength and heart and, faithful to form … a lot of humor.”

He continued observing: “For everyone in the fight, I see you. You and Dave are maintaining space for your pain, your courage and your trip.”

Bure echoed those feelings with a carousel of back photos that already show it Coulier over the years.

“Dave is free of cancer! Join me to celebrate these incredible news: Let’s show with all the love of the world!” She wrote on Instagram.

Shortly before Coulier made his announcement through People, Parade published an interview with the 65 -year -old actor and his wife, Melissa Bring, in which he shared the results of a recent biopsy.

“Melissa and I expect a week to recover the results of the biopsy, and there are no signs of cancer,” he told The Outlet. “One of the few times in my life when ‘Zero’ has been a great number of listening.”

At the time of the interview, Coulier was still waiting for the results of an additional cat sign to determine if his cancer “will be in the rearview mirror.”

Even so, he added: “I will tell you this. Today is the first day I really feel like, ‘Wow, I feel pretty good. I feel like me.’ And it’s today.

It turns out that Coulier has several reasons to feel optimistic these days. On Monday, he also confirmed that he would become a grandfather for the first time after his son, Luc, and his daughter -in -law, Alex, welcomed a baby during the weekend.
