California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) trolled President Donald Trump with a creepy comment during his State of the Union address Tuesday in the House of Representatives.

“Oh no, Donald,” wrote the 58-year-old Democratic governor. “You need some of my hair gel!!!”

The White House did not immediately respond to News themezone’s requests for comment.

Trump does not appear to respond publicly to the California governor’s coup, but the White House he told The Daily Beast in a comment that Newsom “should shut his filthy mouth and apologize to black people for degrading them earlier this week.”

Newsom was accused of racism and bigotry for comments he made Sunday about his low SAT scores while promoting his new book in a conversation with Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens. Both Newsom and Dickens rejected the claims against the governor, and Newsom called the complaints “Fake damn indignation.”

The White House added in its statement about Newsom: “He should be more concerned about his own appearance, which, frankly, many people have serious doubts about, rather than talking about others.”

Newsom has often mocked the president’s brash style on social media and trolled its appearance also.

As for why he has set out to confront Trump on social media, Newsom he told NPR Tuesday that he is “holding a mirror up to President Trump” and “fighting fire with fire.”

“I’m punching a bully in the mouth,” he added.

Trump, meanwhile, has focused conversations around his hair over the years, even repeatedly swearing that his hair is real and not a wig and divulging the precise way he styles his locks during his tedious hair care regimen.
