Gigi Hadid dazzles in gold at the Met gala after celebrating an important milestone
Gigi Hadid dazzled in gold at the Met gala on Monday, a few days after sounding on his 30th birthday.
The supermodel, which was designed by Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, wore a personalized Miu Miu dress for the occasion. Hadid said the beautiful dress paid tribute to the innovative black fashion designer Zelda Wynn Valdes.
“It is a celebration of Zelda Wynn Valdés, who was a fashion designer in the late 40s,” Hadid said in Vogue’s live broadcast on Monday. “She was trained by her uncle in her men’s tailor shop and opened her own store in Washington Heights.”
Valdez made waves to wear black celebrities such as her Fitzgerald, Eartha Kitt, Dorothy Dandridge and Josephine Baker.

The theme of the gala this year is “Superfine: Sastring Black Style”, with an focus on black dandyism.
Vogue described the clothing code tonight as “adapted to you” and “a wink to the exposure approach to male clothes.”
The magazine added that the clothing code is “designed on purpose to provide guidance and invite creative interpretation.”
The actor Colman Domingo, the superstar of F1 Lewis Hamilton, the rapper at $ Ap Rocky and producer Pharrell Williams are co -chairing the event, along with Anna Wintour, the editor in chief of Vogue.
