Hollywood’s finest embraced classic red carpet elegance as they crossed the pond for the 79th British Academy Film Awards on Sunday night.

Commonly known as the BAFTAs, stars opted for timeless tuxedos as they attended Britain’s most distinguished awards show at London’s Royal Festival Hall.

“Bugonia” star Emma Stone was pure sophistication in a custom black Louis Vuitton dress with a striking keyhole on the chest.

Chase Infiniti, who is nominated for two awards for her breakout role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another,” stunned in a strapless burgundy Louis Vuitton look with a structured ruffle at the bottom.

Timothée Chalamet looked dapper in black-on-black, sporting a Givenchy double-breasted jacket with a matching shirt and bow tie when he appeared to see if he would nab another award for “Marty Supreme.” So far this season, he has won best actor at both the Golden Globes and the Critics Choice Awards.

Gillian Anderson wowed in a swirl of purples by Serbian-born designer Roksanda, while Monica Bellucci turned heads in an off-the-shoulder Stella McCartney dress with Cartier diamonds around the neck.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a true English affair without a bit of royal elegance. Princess of Wales Kate Middleton shined in a blush Gucci dress that her husband Prince William paired with a burgundy velvet jacket at the event.

Awards watchers were keeping an eye on tonight’s results, as the BAFTAs are seen as a strong predictor of what could happen on Oscar night in Hollywood next month.

“One Battle After Another” has the biggest awards chance with 14 nominations. Right behind is Ryan Coogler’s Southern horror showcase, “Sinners,” with 13.
