Goal announces actions to fight “nudify” applications

Goal announces actions to combat “undress” applications. This is what you should know. 01:41

Goal has eliminated ads paid for channels in the Telegram Messaging application that promoted accompaniment and sex work services in the United States and other countries from its Instagram platform.

News themezone found multiple ads paid in Meta Instagram stories that promoted opportunities to meet women along with URL links that led to the Telegram platform. Several of these ads were promoted by an Instagram account with more than 100,000 followers called Royal Garden Club that was marketed as a “premium dating agency for rich men” along with a link to a website and a telegram channel.

Meta spokeswoman Erin Logan, told News themezone that the company had eliminated the accounts associated with the ads and disabled the ad accounts for violating the policies of moderation of target content.

News themezone found several ads promoted by an Instagram account with more than 100,000 followers called Royal Garden Club that was marketed as a “premium appointment agency for rich men.”

Meta also confirmed to News themezone that he had banned administrators of advertising advertising accounts on the company’s social networks.

Logan pointed out the company’s human exploitation policy, which includes eliminating the “content in which a third party actor recruits, facilitates or benefits from commercial sexual activity”, as well as the company’s sexual application policy of the company that, among other things, eliminates “content that offers, requests or provides contact methods for prostitution.”

The Royal Garden Club Telegram channel explicitly offered potential customers access to “more than 7,000 girls worldwide for fun dates, relationships and hot sex.” That included announcing an offer of “Vip Lifetime” of $ 8,000 of “Top Models, bloggers, actresses, athletes, magazine cover girls, stars for adults.”

Royal Garden Club affirmed on his telegram that it is a “full service companion agency that legally operates”, pointing out the fact that the business, R Garden Llp, is registered in the United Kingdom. A News themezone review of public business records in the United Kingdom found that the company R Garden Llp registered in a London direction.

Upon arriving in Telegram, an anonymous moderator for the Royal Garden Club Channel declined to comment when asked how he could promote ads on Instagram and what kind of service the company offers.

Another paid Instagram announcement was promoted by an account called Men.S_Dreams, which seemed to be a Shell account with very little content and very few followers. That announcement promoted “Meeting Beautiful Girls” and included a link to a telegram channel. The Telegram channel in question, called “Meeting with Girls”, had messages written in Russian and English that promoted “girls ready to fly with you anywhere in the world.”

That channel published profile images of hundreds of women and noticed their nationalities. News themezone could not independently verify the identity of women, or verify if they had consented to their images shared by the channel. The anonymous moderator of the account repeatedly published messages on the public channel asking for possible clients to send private messages if they wanted to “know something about girls, sex or anything.”

News themezone has also looked for this account about how you could pay the Instagram ads.

While goal has strict content moderation policies, Telegram is known for its non -intervention approach. The content moderation policies of the platform described on its website do not include anything beyond prohibiting “illegal pornographic content in publicly visible telegram channels,” or participating in “activities that are recognized as illegal in most countries.” News themezone has looked for Telegram comments about whether the channels in question violate the platform policies or will make Telegram check its policies.

In recent months, Meta has fought to combat an increase in sexualized payment ads that appear for some users, although such ads violate their terms of use. A News themezone investigation last month discovered hundreds of ads In their platforms that promote “nudify” applications, the tools used to create deep sexually explicit images of real people.

Many of these ads attacked male users between the ages of 18 and 65, in the United States and the European Union.

Later in June, Demanded goal One of the most prominent Nudify applications manufacturers, presenting a demand in Hong Kong against Joy Timeline HK Limited, the entity behind the “Crushai” application, to avoid announcing the application on the goal platforms.
