California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) again criticizes President Donald Trump for spreading disinformation.

On Sunday, Trump returned to his repeated false claims about a rigged election, this time claiming that he would have won California in the 2024 presidential election if he had not been deceived by the Democratic Party.

The president made the comments during a Christmas reception at the White House.

“If the vote in California was legitimate, which it isn’t. If 38 million ballots… It’s all mail-in voting. They mail out 38 million ballots and they arrive, where the hell do they go and where do they come from?” he asked the crowd.

The right-wing leader continued: “It’s a rigged election in California because we would win California by a lot. And again, they feel like they have the advantage with Hispanics, they don’t because I won the Hispanic vote.”

Trump’s opponent in the 2024 presidential race, former Vice President Kamala Harris, won all 54 electoral votes in California by a considerable margin, according to multiple center.

Trump also accused California of being “so rigged” more than “any other [state].”

Newsom didn’t hesitate to mock Trump for his erroneous claims on Sunday.

Early in his speech at the White House, Trump accused Democrats of being “professional cheaters” in the election.

Stating that “we won in [the] 2016 [presidential election] by far,” Trump went on to claim that his administration has “truckloads” of evidence to prove that Democrats “rigged” the 2020 election.

“We have all the ammunition, all the stuff, and you’ll see how it comes out. It’s coming out in trucks. But then we won again in 2024 with an election that we call ‘too big to rig,'” he said. “And we were leading in the polls, but I said, ‘Go out and vote, you have to go out and vote, make it too big to manipulate.’”

Trump added: “[The Democrats] They tried to fix it, but they couldn’t do it. “It was too big to manipulate…too many votes.”
