Hailee Steinfeld and her husband Josh Allen just shared the sweet news ahead of the holidays.

Months after the “Hawkeye” star and the Buffalo Bills quarterback tied the knot in May, the couple announced on social media that they are expecting their first baby together.

Steinfeld shared the news in an adorable outfit. Instagram video on Friday, in which the newlyweds hugged and showed off Steinfeld’s baby bump in the snow. In the images, the “Sinners” actor wore a sweater with the word “mother” written in capital letters.

The couple simply captioned the post with a red heart emoji.

“I love you ❤️,” Allen commented under the clip.

Steinfeld initially revealed her pregnancy to her. Beau Society Substack, where he also posted the same footage of Allen kissing her bare belly in the snowy landscape.

In her Substack post, Steinfeld reflected on her 29th birthday, writing, “The 28th was wild, beautiful, humbling, and full of those kinds of moments that sneak up on you and silently change you. This year, I’ve been reminded of how precious life is.”

The “Pitch Perfect 2” actress has not been shy about talking about her plans to start a family with the NFL star.

When asked during a interview with bustle Last month on whether having children was on her radar, she immediately responded: “Of course.”

“I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world,” she said of Allen in the Nov. 4 interview. “Life makes sense. Everything makes sense. I feel like I’m entering the version I always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him.”

The soon-to-be parents, who launched their relationship on Instagram in July 2024, announced their engagement four months later. Steinfeld and Allen later married in Santa Barbara, California, on May 31.

The “True Grit” star talked about the “unforgettable” wedding weekend in her Beau Society email newsletter in June.

“I’m sitting here with Josh and we’re reminiscing about the best weekend of our lives for the millionth time,” Steinfeld wrote. “Over the past two weeks, random but very specific memories have been flooding back into our heads, and we’ve been recounting them to each other, often through smiles, laughter, and tears.”

Noting that “it felt like love ran through the veins of every tree in our beautiful place in Santa Barbara,” he added, “The togetherness of our family and friends amplified it.”
