Donald Trump announced a new insult on social networks this week to attack critics of their proposed tariffs, which have sent sliding stock markets and increased the fears of an imminent global recession.

But the nickname, “Panican”, failed to land for many, with the online commentators who called him a “total Clunker”, “not the best Trump brand work” and even a sign that “he knows he is screwed.”

In an online publication, Trump criticized what he described as “a new party based on weak and stupid people” who oppose their tariffs, urging supporters not to give in to fear. Even prominent Republicans and their sponsors have called tariffs.

Trump wrote:

While Trump’s loyal ones, including representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-G.), Learned the new phrase, many others were not impressed.

Critics suggest n that the insult lacked Trump’s most infamous nicknames such as “Crooked Hillary” for the 2016 rival democrat Hillary Clinton or “Sleepy Joe” for former President Joe Biden.
