According to the reports, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared details of an imminent military attack on Yemen in a second personal signal chat, as revealed in an investigation of the New York Times published on Sunday and a CNN report.

Almost at the same time, I was exchanging details about planned air attacks in Hutíes rebels in Yemen in texts with a group of senior government, intelligence officials and an added journalist by mistake to the group, Hegseth supposedly shared an almost identical military intel in a group that included his wife, Jennifer; his brother, Phil; your personal lawyer, Tim Parlatore; and around a dozen others of his intimate circle.

According to the reports, this recently revealed thread was accessed, created by Hegseth and appointed group “Defense | Team Huddle”, was accessed through his personal phone, not on his device issued by the Government.

While Phil Hegseth and Parlatore work for the Pentagon, neither seems to have any apparent reason to be informed about the operation, which attacked the hutis rebels in Yemen on March 15.

The wife of the Secretary of Defense is not an employee of the Department of Defense and is already being examined by reports that she traveled with her husband to attend at least two highly sensitive meetings with foreign defense leaders with him.

According to reports, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, here in Arlington, Virginia, on April 16, discussed military plans in a second more personal signal chat, according to a New York Times report.

An unidentified United States government official told the Times that the details in Hegseth’s personal signals did not constitute a national security violation.

“The truth is that there is an informal group chat that began before the confirmation of their closest advisors,” they transmitted. “Nothing classified was discussed in that chat.”

The revelations on the informal signal thread of Hegseth are asking more questions about the management of the information classified by the Trump administration, a little less than a month after a separate filtration put government officials and their Digital security practices under the microscope.

The initial controversy arose after the journalist Jeffrey Goldberg explained how it had been erroneously added to a private signal thread that contains Hegseth, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the senior White House officials and intelligence.

The use of a third -party application to exchange highly confidential information, together with Goldberg’s violation, is currently being investigated by the Interim Inspector General of the Department of Defense.

The double signal debacles are far from being the only tumult that currently shakes the pentagon.

Earlier this week, four former Hegseth advisors were expelled from the agency after they were linked to information leaks, which included details of military plans for the Panama Canal and reported that Elon Musk was informed about possible war plans with China.

The growing scandals have left many questioning Hegseth’s leadership skills.

The retired presenter of News and former National Guard soldier had never served in the Government before being confirmed as Secretary of Defense at the end of January by a vote of the Senate tied, broken by Vance.
