Heidi Klum reveals her
Heidi Klum has once again secured her throne as the undisputed queen of Halloween.
The “Project Runway” host lived up to tradition on Friday and threw another star-studded bash for the spookiest night of the year, arriving at her 24th annual bash as Medusa, the monstrous creature from Greek mythology, replete with snakes growing out of her head.
her husband, Tom Kaulitz, He lovingly complemented Klum by dressing up as a knight who tried to fight Medusa and her gaze turned him to stone. Her costume was as elaborate as Klum’s, with ashy makeup and prosthetics that produced fairly realistic results.
Klum poked fun at her costume last month by sharing a photo of the Medusa bust on Instagram. She told “Good Morning America” on Wednesday: “I’m ready now. But if I were to provoke you, I’ll be very ugly.”
“Very scared!” Klum continued at that point. “But very ugly.”
Since then, he’s shared multiple behind-the-scenes videos and photos chronicling the costume and makeup process, which required a bald cap, numerous prosthetics, and bright green and yellow contact lenses with rather convincing reptile-like pupils.
The costume is even more impressive in motion, as even Klum’s tongue was modified.
Klum held her party at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City, where she arrived last year as the iconic title character in Steven Spielberg’s “ET the Extra-Terrestrial.” The 52-year-old mother of four told E! News at the time that the alien suit “took a year to get ready.”
The prosthetics for her Medusa suit were designed by Prosthetic Renaissance, who recently worked on HBO’s “The Penguin” and brought Colin Farrell’s titular Batman villain to life, and won an Emmy for Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup earlier this year.

Klum has donned a truly electric array of costumes over the years, including Betty Boop, the Hindu goddess Kali, and a giant worm. The German-born fashion icon has been a fan of Halloween for decades and in 2000 she decided to start celebrating it properly.
“When I moved to the United States, I immediately fell in love with Halloween and how spooky it is,” Klum, who grew up in Cologne, told The Hollywood Reporter in 2018. “The only thing I was missing was a fantastic party. It felt like a real opportunity for me.”
Klum revealed at the time that she began wearing “elaborate outfits” to encourage her guests to join in, adding, “And it’s worked because, over the years, people have become more and more outrageous with their costumes. The party has become almost legendary.”
