Hunter Biden is still heated over a moment between his father and former President Barack Obama that occurred during the elder Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign.

According to ABC News’ Jonathan Karl’s upcoming book, “Retribution: Donald Trump and the Campaign That Changed America,” the first son became enraged when Obama grabbed then-President Joe Biden’s hand to lead him off the stage at a Hollywood fundraiser last June.

“That really, really, really, really made me angry,” she told Karl, in a detailed excerpt by Axios on Wednesday.

The optics seemed bad to the president’s son, who was reportedly worried that the moment “was going to be a meme.”

Apparently he had to stop himself from lashing out at Obama, telling Karl, “I almost jumped on stage and said, ‘Don’t ever do that to the president of the United States again.'”

The episode came just over a week before Biden’s devastating debate against Trump, a shaky performance that only amplified Democrats’ concerns about the president’s age and ability.

Amid pressure from his own party, Joe Biden announced his decision to leave the race at the end of July 2024.

Since then, Hunter Biden has not stopped expressing his complaints against the Democratic establishment, which he has repeatedly accused of abandoning his father.
