Elon Musk was publicly shamed on his own social media platform Monday after attacking Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), and she dismantled her “laughable” accusation against him for all to see.

The tech billionaire and world’s richest man once again shared an X-chart suggesting Democrats support illegal immigration to absorb non-citizens into their party as loyal voters. Musk accused Somalia-born Omar of benefiting from this alleged scheme.

He wrote: “This has been going on for years. Ilhan Omar is the most obvious example. A large number of relatively recently arrived Somalis will elect just one Somali to Congress in that Minnesota district. This is much more subtle, but just as bad, in many other parts of the United States.”

Musk, who helped elect President Donald Trump last year with a $250 million infusion into his campaign, appeared not to have done his homework, as Omar easily debunked his theory with a simple fact about her congressional district in Minnesota.

“You are one of the dumbest people in the world, my district is literally a majority white district,” Omar wrote in response while sharing Musk’s post. “Their conspiracy theories are ridiculous and should have no place in a society that cares about facts.”

While her devoted acolytes were quick to attack Omar in the comments, Musk’s own AI chatbot, Grok, had her back: When a user asked about Omar’s congressional district, she cited census data from 2023 to 2024 to point out that the 5th Congressional District she represents is roughly 60% white.

Grok added that it has the largest Somali population in the United States, but only “about 3%.”

Musk fans were quick to argue that Omar did not discredit her claim, as she apparently could still benefit from the alleged influx of undocumented workers, even though it is illegal for them to vote in state elections and criminal voting by non-citizens is almost non-existent.

Last year, Musk amplified the false claim that millions of new voters had registered in swing states without proof of citizenship and shared a false “affidavit” from a supposed “whistleblower” who claimed ABC News had rigged the presidential debate he hosted against Trump.

Musk has also amplified the “replacement theory” by accusing Democratic elites of “importing” undocumented workers to replace white ones, and recently shared a post warning that white men in America “will be slaughtered” if they ever become a minority.

Omar District has been in turmoil since the shooting death last week of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old mother killed by a U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement officer. Omar herself has endured countless deportation threats from Trump and his supporters.

Meanwhile, his rant against Musk did not go unnoticed by his critics on social media.
