In political switching, the spokesman for the state department of Biden says that Israel
The former spokesman for the State Department, Matthew Miller, says that he personally believes that Israel has been committing war crimes against the Palestinian people, even during his mandate in the Biden administration, where, as an important voice of the foreign policy of the United States, he defended daily the crushing of Israel de Gaza to the US public.
In statements to Mark Stone of Sky News in the podcast “Trump 100”, Miller said Monday that it is “certainly true that Israel has committed war crimes” in the territory. When Stone asked if he had this belief while serving as a spokesman, he said yes.
“Look, one of the things about being a spokesman is that you are not a spokesman for yourself. You are a spokesman for the president, the administration, and defends the positions of the administration,” said Miller. “And when you are not in the administration, you can give your own opinions.”
The former state department official said that he believes that Israeli soldiers committed war crimes in individual cases instead of as part of a broader policy of systematically deleting the Palestinian people, since much of the international community has accused the Israeli government.
“We were waiting to come,” News themezone’s admission of News themezone’s admission of News themezone’s admission to News themezone’s admission to News themezone to News themezone told News themezone of News themezone’s admission. “But I think this is the first foray of that, that Biden administrative officials said:” Oh, yes, we were hard with Israel, we were not super pro-Israel, “after saying for more than a year that they were the most pro-Israel administration of all time, and many of the reports since then obviously they supported him.”
“But [Miller] Are you saying that you are talking about covering war crimes, right? He is not even covering the age of Biden or things like that, “Bendaas continued.” But cover a war crime that knows what happened and say that this does not happen because you are following orders? That is basically what he is saying. It’s just a different thing. “
United Nations officials, human rights groups and some world leaders have described Israel’s actions as genocides, a term that Miller rejected. Even so, his comments on Monday represent a great axis of the statements he made every day on behalf of former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, while facing the journalists who tried to push him to the role of the United States to support and put together an Israeli offensive that has now reached its thirteenth month.
“It must be said that Miller is also guilty of, at least, to facilitate these war crimes,” the Progressive strategist Rania Batrice published in X. “Matthew Miller, almost daily, not only lied to the public and the press, did so in a condescending way of shit, in an attempt to deceive the public.”

Although Miller insisted that he believed that Israeli war crimes were individual acts, the State Department was aware that the Israeli government was committing possible war crimes. The experts within the United States government concluded last year that Israel was intentionally blocking humanitarian aid when entering Gaza, an important development that would legally require the Biden Administration to stop sending weapons to Israel. Blinken rejected the findings and delivered a report to Congress without that information, the leader of the Stacy Gilbert report to give up in protest.
Gilbert was one of the many named Biden who, unlike Miller, resigned from the unconditional support of the administration to Israel in his bombing campaign.
Biden Resignee and a new policy co -founder Josh Paul told News themezone: “The non -sense law of the Biden administration when it was what was happening in Gaza was no less a scandal that Watergate, and in the context of its human impact, probably greater.”
Miller is the last in a growing number of voices that change their melody and speak against Israel’s military campaign, the difficult situation of the Palestinians and the humanitarian crisis that affects Gaza. The former spokesman said that he wanted the Biden Administration to do more to press Israel to accept a high fire agreement after May 2024, when the documentation of indiscriminate violence of the military against civilians became almost impossible to ignore.

“I am happy to be punitive with Matt Miller, but we also want to see that more people are doing what Matt Miller is doing in some way, because it is a sign that they are recognizing that public opinion has changed quite quickly about this,” said Bendaas. “And especially on the democratic side, it is extremely unpopular to be Pro-Israel in the way Democrats have been during the last decades.”
