Israel has also allowed humanitarian drops. On Sunday, Israel, Jordan and the EAU, all parachute aid pallets in the ruins of Gaza.
The drops are dramatic, but they are expensive, inefficient and potentially dangerous. People have been wounded and even killed by heavy palettes During the past air it falls on the territory.

To meet the need, most of the aid will have to get to Gaza in truck. Each truck can transport between 4 and 10 times more than a parachute.
After 22 months of war, including the months in which Israel blocked all the aid in Gaza, people are so hungry that the convoys are looting.
The video of the weekend showed men climbing to take out truck flour bags before they could reach the aid deposits.
International beneficial organizations have a new name for this, “autodistribution”, and is a graphic representation of the level of despair in the Palestinian enclave.

“We haven’t seen anything,” he said. “Without help … from land, air or anywhere else.”

Meanwhile, war continues. The Israel Army has said that it will stop fighting in very populated areas from 10 am to 8 pm local time, for an un specified number of days. But there have been more reports from people who are triggered trying to access food.
In a statement on Monday, the UN agency commissioned the Palestinians, Unrwa, welcomed the Declaration of Humanitarian Pauses of Israel and the flexibility of restrictions on the aid to enter Gaza, but emphasized that much more was needed.
Unrwa warned that, according to their data, “1 in 5 children is malnourished in the city of Gaza. According to the reports, more children have starved to hunger; carrying the number of deaths … to more than 100”.
“We hope that Unrwa will finally be allowed to bring thousands of trucks loaded with food, medications and hygiene supplies. They are currently in Jordan and Egypt waiting for the green light,” the agency said. “Opening all crosses and flooding Gaza with help is the only way to avoid a greater deepening of starvation among Gaza people. What is needed is at least 500/600 basic concept trucks every day.”
The Israeli army also said that it will ensure safe routes so that help trucks deliver and distribute their loads through Gaza. It is something that UN help agencies have been pressing and, if it works, it will allow very necessary food to finally reach the people who need it so much.
