Jack Osbourne reveals the name of his new baby and it’s a sweet tribute to dad Ozzy

Just kidding, that’s not the name Jack OsborneThe new girl. But his name is a very direct tribute to his grandfather, the late and legendary leader of “Black Sabbath.” Ozzy Osborne.

In a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, Jack Osbourne and his wife, Aree Osbourne, shared a black-and-white video of their baby with a card indicating that she was born on March 5, 2026, weighed seven pounds, 12 ounces, and was named Ozzy Matilda Osbourne.

“Introducing Ozzy Matilda Osbourne,” they wrote in the caption.

The birth of little Ozzy Matilda occurs less than a year after her grandfather’s died of a heart attack in July 2025 at age 76..

She is Jack and Aree Osbourne’s second child together, after they welcomed their first, Maple Artemis. in July 2022.

Jack Osbourne is also the father of three daughters with his ex-wife, Lisa Stelly: Pearl, 13, Andy, 10, and Minnie, 7.

Fortunately, the couple was able to share that they were expecting before the “Iron Man” singer’s death. Jack Osbourne told The Sun in December.

“I think it’s been part healthy distraction, part healing,” he told the outlet at the time. “Probably in that kind of ‘full cycle’ category, in a weird way.”

He added: “A lot of energy has been taken away from the grieving side and parked in a little more hope.”
