JD Vance reveals MAGA

Vice President JD Vance has made two unexpected revelations and possibly snubbed his boss, President Donald Trump, in the process.

Appearing in “Pod Force OneOn Wednesday’s podcast, the vice president revealed that former Trump critic Marco Rubio is his “best friend” in the Trump administration, and that he and the secretary of state are “very interested” in UFOs, also known as UAPs.

Before the conversation began, host Miranda Devine asked Vance if he had ever had any friction with Rubio, considering Trump and others have floated both men as potential 2028 Republican presidential candidates.

“First of all, no. There’s not going to be any tension. Marco is my best friend in the administration and he and I work together a lot,” Vance told Devine. “I think we really do… a lot of the good work we’ve been able to do in this administration is because we can all work together.”

Vance also said he has never “woke up” thinking about how to become president, despite teasing your potential career just last month.

The interview took a random turn at the end after Devine revealed to Vance that she is a “crazy UFO lunatic.”

Mentioning comments the vice president had made on the “Ruthless” podcast in August about his “obsession” with mysterious UFO videos, Devine asked whether he had accomplished his goal of “trying to dive to the bottom of the whole UFO thing.”

“That was a little ironic. I haven’t figured it out yet,” Vance responded. “I haven’t had time to figure it out yet… I really want to dig into it.”

Suddenly, Vance mentioned Rubio again.

“You know, Marco is also very interested in this. We talked about this a little bit. We talked about this in our days in the Senate,” he said.

Noting that “there’s certainly an interest there” and “an intrigue” in the topic of extraterrestrial life, Vance acknowledged the “crazy person inside of me.”

“And, you know, we all put on the tinfoil hat from time to time,” he said. “I’m wondering, I can’t afford to be so busy that I’m going to spend the next three years without getting to the bottom of this. So I’ll get to the bottom of this, but it’s going to take a little while.”
