JD Vance says yes,
Vice President JD Vance expressed his unequivocal confidence in the good health of President Donald Trump, while pointed out that, however, he is well prepared to take care of the superior work if “a terrible tragedy” should occur.
In an interview published this week, Use Today asked Vance: “Why should Americans trust you to direct the country?”
“Well, I have received a lot of good training in the last 200 days,” the vice president replied before pivoting quickly to praise Trump’s health.
“The president has incredibly good health. He has incredible energy,” said Vance, adding that Trump, 79, is typically the “last person who makes phone calls at night” and “the first person” to wake up and start making phone calls in the morning.

Vance then reiterated his preparation to become president, if necessary.
“I feel very sure that the president of the United States is in good shape, will fulfill the rest of his mandate and will do great things for the American people,” he said. “And if God does not want it, there is a terrible tragedy, I can’t think of a better work training than I have received in the last 200 days.”
Speculation has been turning on the president’s health in recent weeks after the appearance of recurring bruises in his hands. In July, the White House attributed the bruises to “frequent handshake” and taking aspirin as part of a preventive cardiovascular regime.
