Jeanine Pirro, a former News presenter who is now the US prosecutor of the Columbia district, boasted to help Trump’s campaign while working on News, according to the texts revealed in newly written judicial documents.

The texts of September 2020 from Pirro to Ronna McDaniel, then president of the Republican National Committee, were made public on Tuesday in presentations of the Smartmatic voting technology company, which is demanding News for defamation related to its electoral fraud coverage.

“Very hard work for the party throughout the country,” Pirro sent a text message to McDaniel, according to the presentations. “I am the number 1 program saw in all news cable all weekend. Very hard work for the president and the party.”

The United States Prosecutor’s Office in DC did not immediately respond to requests for comments on texts, which Washington Post first reported Wednesday.

In a text message from another newly written presentation, Pirro discussed being with Trump in the Oval office shortly before the 2020 elections. In the messages sent to a friend, Pirro said that his fellow News host, Sean Hannity, broke into the room and used the president’s private bathroom. She referred to him as an “egomaniac.”

Pirro, together with the hosts of News, Jesse Watters and Maria Bartiromo, are appointed in the demand together with the network. The presentation presents several instances of hosts and guests of News that suggest that the smartmatic software altered the votes to steal Donald Trump’s elections and deliver the victory to Joe Biden, who is not backed by any evidence.

The Network had Trump Sidney Powell lawyer in the Pirro program, “Justice with Judge Jeanine”, in November 2020, which allows him to attack Smartmatic in the air.

When he was contacted to comment, News denied having acted badly.

“The evidence shows that Smartmatic’s business and reputation suffered a lot before any statement from President Trump’s lawyers in News and that Smartmatic greatly inflated their damage claims to generate holders and freedom of expression,” the statement said.

“Now, after Smartmatic executives are accused of bribery charges, we are anxious and ready to continue defending our press releases,” the statement continued, referring to the Department of Justice that accuses SmartMatic executives last year for allegedly bribing the former higher election official in the Philippines.

Federal prosecutors alleged this week that executives exceeded Los Angeles County for voting machines used during the 2020 elections, then set the difference in a “Aguanieve Fund” for bribes officials.

Both Smartmatic and News have requested a summary judgment, without going through a trial. According to the New York Times, a decision is expected about the demand of Manhattan’s judge, David Cohen, in the coming months.
