Something has changed inside Jeff Goldblum, and he is no longer the same after filming the film adaptation of the Broadway musical “Wicked.”

After Goldblum embarked on his journey to the mythical land of Oz alongside Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, the veteran actor gave up meat, driven by the animal cruelty depicted in the film, he revealed.

“It’s changed me,” Goldblum told Britain’s “This Morning” on Monday. “After making this movie, we talked about animal cruelty. I stopped eating meat and poultry.”

He went on to talk about how his new lifestyle will affect his vacation plans.

“This Christmas and Thanksgiving, I might have something else,” he said, to which one of the hosts suggested roast chestnuts, a popular dish in Britain during the Christmas season.

Goldblum concluded with a message to the general public: “We need to make the world work for everyone on Earth, and for all creatures, too.”

Goldblum said he was “delighted” to be a part of “Wicked,” although he admitted to having some reservations about the shoes he had to fill.

“It occurred to me, you know, people are going to have great expectations… and great people have,” he shared earlier. expressing the hope that the public would accept his participation.

“It seems to have worked. Maybe there was something in me that was right for this version,” he said.
