Jennifer Love Hewitt says she hasn’t recovered from the 1 time she really was in public

Jennifer Love Hewitt revealed to Vulture in a recent profile that has not yet “recovered” from a great identity crisis that he had in the first Aughts.

“I don’t think it’s really insecure to that cover. And then, when it happened, I don’t know if I’ve ever recovered,” Hewitt said. “Because there is a part of me that is always like, Will this version be good enough or will it happen again? Where someone is going to be, ‘hey, this is her without makeup in the cleaners. She looks 59. ‘”

Hewitt’s pain was deeper than mere vanity. She described a heartbreaking to Vulture what she was thinking when these “little flattering” photos of her were shot.
“I was having the best moment of my life,” Hewitt said. “I had invented the most silly song about eating snacks and playing in the ocean, and I was singing to my boyfriend aloud, making a strange dance movement, and obtained the photo and then I was on the cover.”
Hewitt identified why this incident affected her so deeply.
“Because that was me,” the vulture confessed about the sincere paparazzi photos. “I think that’s why insecurity continued. I don’t know if I have ever armed it for myself that is not now.”

Hewitt told Vulture that his current role in “9-1-1” is the first time since his “Five Festival” in which the public is really invested in his performance, instead of his body.
“It was work and then it was the body. And not the body of work,” Hewitt said. “Now we are going back to the work.”
