Jimmy Kimmel drops the epic F-Bomb on CBS to cancel Colbert
Jimmy Kimmel sent a little love to his partner Night Host Stephen Colbert on Thursday after News canceled “The Late Show.”
“I love you Stephen,” Kimmel wrote, who is in ABC, in Instagram’s stories. He also had a much more forceful message for Colbert’s network: “Jóde yourself and all your Sheldons News.”
Colbert and Kimmel can be rivals in the air, but they are friends. Unlike the icy relationship between the legendary night hosts of David Letterman and Jay Leno, Kimmel and Colbert have made them become publicly well and even appeared in the shows of the other.
Last year, Colbert criticized President Donald Trump for attacking Kimmel.
“You keep my friend Jimmy Kimmel out of your strange wet mouth, okay?” Colbert said.
The two also did a little together during the 2019 Emmy Awards.
And during the 2023 writers strike, they and three other hosts joined to launch a podcast together, and the income goes to employees who cannot work due to detention.
Colbert’s cancellation occurred days after Paramount made fun of, which has News, for its $ 16 million agreement with Trump in a lawsuit that many considered without merit. That agreement occurs when Paramount tries a fusion with Skydance Media, which requires that the approval of the FCC continue.
The “The Late Show” program will run until next May. Kimmel’s contract ends next year, and has publicly indicated that he could not have returned.
“I think this is my final contract,” Kimmel told Los Angeles Times in 2024.
