Joe Biden paid both the campaign advisor, outraged other employees: book
A new book says that Mike Donilon was paid a whopping $ 4 million to prepare strategies for the folded re -election offer of Joe Biden, eclipsing the salary of the president of the Jen O’Malley Dillon campaign and generating resentment among other officials.
A summary of axios extract published on Tuesday of “Original without” by Jake Tapper of CNN and Alex Thompson detailed the salary disparity that caused such bitterness.
The president ordered the campaign to “pay Mike what he wants,” the authors said. “The superior campaign staff were outraged when they found out about this agreement.”
Donilon’s salary was “higher magnitude orders” than other advisors, including the $ 300,000 made by O’Malley Dillon, according to the book.
Axios pointed out for the “original sin” that many Biden attendees said that the president’s main staff should have had the “courage” to warn him about the traps of looking for a second mandate, and benefiting too much from a campaign that finally bent.

Biden left the race in July in the midst of growing concerns about his mental and physical sharpness.
Donilon said in February that the Democrats “melted” after the fateful biden debate against Donald Trump, and that the media perpetuated the impression that Biden was perpetuated by the media.

Donilon was one of the main main advisors of the White House and it is known that he was in the small internal circle of Biden when his remote motto of the main campaign was announced in January 2024. O’Malley Dillon, who was also among the closest associates of Biden and was already a deputy cabinet chief, also joined the campaign. (Both helped design the victorious career of Biden in 2020).
O’Malley moved to the presidency of the presidential offer of Vice President Kamala Harris, who ended up defeat Donald Trump.
