Journalist who had an alleged affair with RFK Jr. publishes his sexual messages: report
Olivia Nuzzi is writing a book about her alleged affair with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and it will be explicit, according to reports.
Oliver Darcy’s Status announced that Nuzzi has been quietly working on the book since parting ways with New York magazine over the relationship. It allegedly started after she interviewed the then-2023 presidential candidate.
The book galleries are circulating and are headed for possible publication during the holidays, Darcy reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
But the New York Post’s Page Six delved deeper into alleged details, writing that the book will include passionate messages between the two that could “potentially incinerate” Kennedy’s marriage to “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star Cheryl Hines.
“It’s hard to imagine RFK surviving this with his marriage and job intact,” a “source with knowledge of the book” told the gossip site.

It’s titled “American Canto” and has a “To Be Announced” holding spot on Amazon with a release scheduled for December 2, according to Page Six. The release date would be about three weeks after Hines’ memoir “Unscripted” comes out.
News themezone has contacted publisher Simon & Schuster, the office of Kennedy and Nuzzi, whose book will also cover her political writing career, according to Darcy.
Nuzzi parted ways with New York magazine in October 2024 after she was suspended for a “personal relationship” with Kennedy. The political scion faced major tension at home over his indiscretion, a source told People. The couple almost stopped communicating for weeks after the scandal broke, and Hines was “embarrassed that he got caught,” the source said.
Hines spoke lightly about the scandal in an interview with The Wall Street Journal over the summer.

“I don’t think it makes sense to go through every rumor and headline to try to defend it or explain it,” Hines said. “…Bobby and I talk about everything, that’s how we get through everything, we’re really good friends and we trust each other.”
Last month, Nuzzi was hired as Vanity Fair’s West Coast editor.
